Dr Andres Ardila

Dr Andres Ardila is a veterinarian with extensive clinical and practical experience in production animal medicine. He has recently joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a Technical Services Veterinarian (Cattle & Sheep) after expending 15 years with the School of Veterinary Science at The University of Queensland where he worked as a Clinical Academic with the UQ VETS Production Animal Service. He is a service provider for Dairy Australia’s Healthy Hooves program, which helps farmers with training to reduce lameness in their herds. His research interests include prevention and control of lameness in dairy cattle and improving the welfare of dairy calves through sensible husbandry.
