Associate Professor Jennifer Carter

Associate Professor Jennifer Carter is a geographer working at the University of the Sunshine Coast.  During her Honours research in biogeography, she identified the spatial and physical elements of a tourist location that affected seabird nesting and breeding.

She has also published on weed dispersal by water birds, raptor conservation planning in urbanizing landscapes, and the ethics of care for wildlife including dingoes and dolphins.  Jennifer is a Councillor of the Institute of Australian Geographers and of the Royal Geographical Society of Queensland, and an Editorial Board Member of Geographical Research and the Review of International Geographical Education Online.
