Dr Lana Harriott

Lana Harriott is a project officer at Biosecurity Queensland, working within the Invasive Plants and Animals Research team.

Her current research areas are focused around peri-urban wild dog ecology and management. Prior to this, Lana worked at the Queensland Animal Science Precinct, as a Technical Officer for several large animal research projects.

She graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Science (Animal Science) in 2011 and completed her honours degree researching urban fox environments in 2012.

Lana was awarded a PhD from the University of Queensland in March 2018 which was focused on the carriage of zoonotic pathogens by peri-urban wild dogs.
