Grant Maudsley is a third-generation beef and grain producer from the Mitchell district with a passion for broadacre agriculture. Grant is currently serving as AgForce General President and is one of Australia’s most prominent rural advocates, leading significant reforms and overseeing the modernisation of both agriculture and agri-politics.
Grant is a Grazing BMP accredited producer and chairs the Grazing BMP partnership committee. This is demonstrative of his commitment to improving sustainability, best management practices, and animal welfare. Grant is a leader within the industry driving on-the-ground practice change and demonstrating Queensland’s agricultural sustainability credentials to the world. Grant is passionate about ensuring rural representative organisations are well governed, maintain their relevance, and are accountable to their members. He is determined to encourage intelligent and thoughtful debate to drive good policy outcomes for farmers and regional communities.
