The RSPCA Qld’s Animals in Focus conference has had a makeover! New logo, extra streams, more great talks to enjoy.

In 2018, the Animals in Focus conference now incorporates the RSPCA Qld World Farm Animal Day Symposium – same great mix of science, industry and welfare offered as a one-day stream in a larger conference format.

The Animals in Focus Conference includes four streams (over 2 big days):
  • Companion animal sheltering, welfare and behaviour
  • Innovations in the farming industry
  • Human-animal interactions
  • Conservation & animal welfare
The overall theme in 2018 is how innovation can be used to improve the life experience of animals and improve welfare. Come and hear about how we can assess emotions in farm animals, use reward-based training methods for our pets more simply, and address the welfare crisis in wildlife through legislative change. There is much more of interest on offer so please read the program and check it out.
